I chose to draw Derek Shine, The Combat Medic, because he represents two things I love so much, Battle Support classes and dark skin characters!! XD

I always wanted to draw dark skin/tanned characters but I wasn't very sure how to color their skin, I like the textures/screentones used for manga but I just couldn't make them look natural in Manga Studio, so I decided to try out shading it first with pencil traditionally and then coloring over it digitally and I like the result very much! So I think I'll try this again in my next illustrations!
